Audio Engineering Professionals

We have several excellent engineers to choose from covering all types of music.

Jeff Gossard – Owner Operator/Musician. Jeff’s musical career began at the early age of four playing violin. As a teenager his passion for music developed into playing guitar for several bands in the Seattle area. During these times, Jeff recorded in several studios in the Seattle area and his love for recording studios soon took over. This passion led to the construction of his first recording studio called “Trax Recording” in north Seattle. Jeff owned and operated Trax Recording for 17 years. During these years Jeff was awarded the “Outstanding Recordings Red Seal Award” for his recording of “From Rice Paddies and Temple Yards: Traditional Music of Vietnam”, voted in 1990 by the American Folklife Center, Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.. This recording is used in conjunction with a book as the “teaching standard” for authentic Vietnamese music.

In pursuit of Jeff’s relentless commitment to musical excellence, he then moved to Lake Stevens Wa. which led to the construction of a state of the art recording facility that is currently Gossard Studios.
