The Studio

Gossard Studios is now open in Lake Stevens, Washington.  Formerly known as Trax Recording of north Seattle, Gossard Studios represents the culmination of three years of determined construction.  It offers a comfortable, creative environment for all types of musical and audio production.

Gossard Studios is a state of the art 1500 square foot facility that can accommodate projects of every size.  It features a 600 square foot live room with 20 foot vaulted ceilings, two large isolation booths and a 480 square foot control room with 3/4 inch solid maple flooring throughout the entire studio.  Mogami audio cable has been installed for the 80 plus input channels.


Audio Engineering Professionals

Jay Follette - Chief Engineer.  Jay has over 30 years experience in the recording industry including 10 years at Seattle's Ironwood Studios as Chief Engineer where he worked with artists including Bill Frizell, Dave Peck, Jay Thomas, Jazz Police, Jeff Tate of Queensryke, Joe Pass, John Goforth, Larry Coreall, Tim Scott of Tower of Power, Tuatara, Walk a Bouts and Wayne Horvitz.

Jeff Gossard - Owner Operator/Musician.  Jeff's musical career began at the age of four playing violin and his passion for music developed into playing guitar as a teenager.  Jeff built and operated Trax Recording in north Seattle for 17 years.  He then moved to Lake Stevens so he could build a recording studio that matched his commitment to musical excellence.
